This resource is a booklet for AQA Alevel Psychology topic Social Influence. The Booklet follows a trial of Zimbardo, discussing the ethical issues and contributions to the field of psychology that the study had. This will not only develop their researching skills but tackles the AO3 information in a fun and interactive way.

Students will need to be split into groups with a head of the group who will act in the mock court trial as the individual eg Zimbardo, judge, witness, lawyer.

The students will be required to do some flipped learning to research Zimbardo’s stanford prison experiement or alternatively you could have them do this during lesson time. The groups then need to come up with and prep what their leader will say during the trial.

The trial will then take place.
