AQA English Language Question 3 (Structure) - Christmas TV Adverts

Are your learners struggling with Question 3 on the AQA English Language paper? Do they need practice using the relevant terminology when commenting on structure? Do you like the idea of using videos rather than texts? Well, here is a lesson that invites learners to practise their Question 3 skills by commenting on the structure of a Christmas TV advert. I’ve used the John Lewis snowman advert from a few years ago, as well as this year’s Kevin the Carrot offering from Aldi. The structure would actually work for any advert or short video. Such festive japes!
