This is the sixth of 8 annotated and narrated Powerpoint presentations about cells for GCSE that I made to help my next year’s Year 11 students catch up after Covid19. It focuses on the relationship between size and surface area to volume ratio, and how to calculate these, and moves on to the requirement for gas exchange and circulatory systems in larger animals. It follows the AQA specification and has 10 multiple choice questions designed to emphasise the key vocabulary and a RAG sheet, to assess knowledge and understanding. It can be used without the narration in class and with it for revision purposes and is fully editable.
