This is two lessons in one to allow students to practise the factor theorem. The new specification does not specifically refer to the remainder theorem but the classic problems are still worth looking at to get students to practice the skills involved. The powerpoint (which has a starter) will take students through the types of problem involving finding unknown coefficients. The resource that accompanies the lesson is fully differentiated. The other lesson simply reinforces this work
