This resource is a collection of images on the topic of Australia. It is ideally suited for use with students of most ages and languages, e.g. Spanish, French, German, English and ESL as well as in Geography, History, Citizenship, etc… the 48 pictures will surely entice learners to learn about the unique country of Australia. They include how Australia was moved to its current location, animals that evolved there, its indigenous people and their highly important culture, some of Australia’s best-known features.
Pictures are presented in various sizes, i.e. 1, 2, 4 and 12 to a page. This allows for a variety of activities, from flash cards to pairs games, depending on the skills of your learners.
A PowerPoint presentation features all 48 pictures as well as slide 1 for you to adapt to your needs, e.g. learning aims and an empty slide at the end to allow you to add anything you would like. This presentation file is also included as a .pdf file
The colourful pictures can just as easily be printed in black and white.
