Be Internet Legends: Secure Pillar Pack

Welcome to the Be Internet Legends curriculum, which was developed in partnership between Google and Parent Zone.

Be Internet Legends is a multifaceted programme for schools, designed to help teach children aged 7 to 11 the skills they need to be safer and more confident online.

In this pack
This Secure Pillar Pack contains a range of activities that will teach pupils to Protect Their Stuff when they’re online.

The activities look at ways of protecting information online and asking for help if you are concerned about yours or others’ safety.

They also teach children the importance of having private and secure passwords for their accounts and devices.

The activities help pupils understand why protecting their personal information online is so important, and why the information they put online is not necessarily safe or private.

It includes:

• The Secure Pillar Pack – containing useful vocabulary, 5 classroom activities, and supporting worksheets
• Links to three interactive lessons in Google Slides built around Alert activities, exploring the themes ‘Passwords & Behaviour’, ‘Making Good Decisions Online’, and ‘Sharing Settings & Passwords’.
