Bear Puppet

These polar bear puppets are so much fun and are sure to inspire lots of imaginative play. They’re a great craft for Winter or polar study units. (You could use the template to make black or brown bears too.)

The bear puppets are very easy to make with the printable template. The template comes in two sizes so you can make a polar bear family! Each bear is made using just one sheet of printer cardstock and the addition of a jumbo craft stick or drinking straw handle.

It’s easy to make your bear walk along by gently twisting your wrist from side to side, and moving your hand forward.

Please note the polar bear puppets in the photographs are made with the large template. They also have the addition of wiggle eyes and a pompom nose but paper eyes and noses are included in the templates if you prefer.
