**Use the colour purple to introduce your young learner to new English words. **

**An overview of the Lesson **

A complete fun, colourful and interactive PowerPoint lesson which follows the PPP lesson method (Presentation, Practice, Production) includes;

• Proper greetings at the beginning and end of the lesson.
• How are you today? – Practice words about feelings (sad, happy, tired etc.).
• How is the weather today? – Practice words about weather (sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy)
• Practice Days of the Week – What day is it today?
• Graphical Lexis introduction of five purple things (grapes, plum, eggplant, balloon, butterfly).
• Easy reading picture sentences (Example, “I like purple grapes, I see a purple balloon” etc.).
• Learn to count from the purple things from 10 - 20.
• Play a Number / Word Match game - Match the numbers from 1 to 10 to the correct word.
• Show and Tell (The student gets to show the teacher their purple things)
• Play a platform-style arcade game to practice – (Rescue the magical purple butterfly from the castle!)
