Biological Molecules AQA A Level - Recap / Retrieval Quizzes

Bundle of 5 recap/retrieval quizzes to be used with Year 12 A Level studying Biological Molecules (AQA Biology).

How to use
Use each 10 mark quiz at the end of each sub-topic (every week or two), allow students 6-7 minutes with no prior revision. If they need extra time, make a note on their page with the number of extra minutes rather than asking them to stop. Can be easily marked by yourself during the lesson - highlight errors and give hints, circle any question numbers that are wrong and return to the students. Track this on an Excel sheet throughout the year. I do not give the students a mark out of 10, as it is more beneficial to encourage them to just focus on the feedback that’s been written down and correct their answers, however I calculate a rough mark out of 10 based on number of mistakes and put this onto my marksheet.

These are focused on AO1 knowledge and recall to help you see whether you need to recap any topics before moving onto the next lesson.
