British sector of the Western Front

A sequence of lessons for the study of the British sector of the Western Front, part of the GCSE History 9-1 spec 'Medicine through time from 1250 onwards' unit offered by Edexcel. The lessons include opportunities for independent and peer learning with links to video clips and websites. There is a strong focus on the new assessment focus of the new specification with several of the lessons focusing purely on how to approach the questions. Worksheets have been designed to help pupils acquire a rigorous base of knowledge and develop analytical skills when using sources. They are designed in a format to help with easy memory recall for revision for the new linear exam format.
