After getting pupils to plan, collect data and draw a chart/graph of results for an investigation in to long a candle will burn with different sized beakers placed over them, I gave them this sheet to assess each others work. I changed the AFL criteria wording in to easier to understand terms related to the investigation - pupils did need some explanation of what a continuous scale was. I found this really useful at high-lighting student science investigation ability. It also made my assessment much quicker and easier.
