A set of two lessons based on C’est comment un collège français? Dynamo 1 Module 2.4. Lesson allows students to discuss similarities and differences between French and English schools and give their preference whilst also revising ER verbs seen earlier in the module. Unit also introduces students to the pronoun ‘on’. First lesson includes a video comprehension activity and second lesson includes a translation race, challenging students to translate a complex text from French to English but motivating them with a point per correct word. Set of lessons concludes with a GCSE style writing task complete with success criteria for students to self assess.
