I made a German version of a card game I always play with my friends. In Spanish it’s called “the wolf” or “the town sleeps”.
One player is “the wolf” and the others are “villagers” or some other special roles. The wolf wins when they eliminate all the villagers without being caught, otherwise the villagers win if they find out who is the wolf.
It’s a game that I use in class to use language in a real-life context (what’s more real life than playing a cardgame with your friends?!) , listening and speaking. At the beginning I start leading the game, but soon the students are so engaged that they want to lead it!
Hope you like it :)
