Our Year 2 children loved this song. They sang it in a joint concert with Year 1, and the following year the children who had heard it were asking if they could learn it too.
Just home after having done a Year one assembly on Castles. The teacher found this song which had great words but was not keen on the tune. As it happens I am quite musical and wrote a tune that was easier for the kids to latch onto. A good song which enforced learning, and greatly enjoyed by everyone at the assembly.
