Resource based on the edexcel 2016 spec (9-1)
Note - I have included some questions on the powerpoint but you will need to use edexcel worksheets for this lesson.
Starter: pupils have some information to read and questions to answer. For lower ability the words are highlighted or for more able they are not.
Main: pupils focus on Yellowstone national park and the effect of wolf extinction have on the ecosystems. This then goes on to look at a video about the reintroduction of wolves. Includes a small amount on graph work showing a predator-prey numbers link. Pupils then use edexcel worksheets to complete learning.
Plenary: pupils sum up in 3 sentences
