Christmas Adventures of Kitchen Friends

A fun lesson, or unit of work based around festive food characters that each have their own character, rhyme and culminating in a charming story.

This resource is created around 8 food cartoon characters that you might find on your Christmas dinner plate.
Each character comes in colour cards or black and white cards for the children to colour in.
Included are Stella Sprout, Percy Pudding and Tulula Turkey and more.
There is a sheet where the character names are written under the black and white characters for children to trace over.
There is also a little rhyme to go with each character.
Finally, there is a story:
A Merry Feast: The Christmas Adventures of the Kitchen Friends.
This is a charming story to share and to act out as part of a festive assembly or Christmas play.
As an extension activity, children could create their own festive food characters.
