This twin (double sided) poster has been designed to be used as a resource aimed at KS3 but could also be used with KS4 students in Design and Technology DT lessons. The poster explains at an 11 year old level what CNC (computer numerical control) is, the benefits and drawbacks, where CNC machines are used and provides a more in depth look at laser cutting and 3D printing.
The poster has been used as an alternative when internet is not accessible or when a computer room can’t be used. It has been used in cover lessons, revision sessions for KS4 and KS5. It is the essential resource to use as a reference for learning more about CNC.
