Coin Recognition and Basic Coin Addition

These worksheets have clear images of coins which will be helpful for Early Years, KS1 and SEN students learning about money in Maths or Life Skills. The 4 documents are as follows:

1 Matching Coins - 2 worksheets – The first one involves linking coins up with the correct value and the second involves writing the correct value next to the coin.

2 Add the Coins - 4 worksheets for adding the coins 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p, plus blank worksheets and coin images so you can make additional sheets at an appropriate level for your students.

3 Which Coins Could You Use? – 4 worksheets where the students have to draw the coins they could use to make a given amount. Blank worksheet and coin images provided for additional sheets.

4 Number Lines - to 10 and 20

Tips: If possible, give the students real coins to place on the pictures. Some students also need counters so they can exchange a 5p for 5 counters etc.
