This lesson plan aligns with Oklahoma academic standards K.D.1.1, K.D.1.2, and K.D.1.3. As a result of mastering these standards, students will know how to collect and sort information about either objects or events, create graphs about this information, and draw conclusions from these graphs. This whole-class activity begins with the entire class listing events that happen before they come to school, when they are at school, and after they go home. Next, you will draw small visuals on the graph to represent these events. Finally, you will discuss this graph and ask students which time of the day is most eventful and least eventful.
