Comedy Unit Drama

This Drama Comedy Unit looks at different forms of comedy and challenges students to create their own in a very practical way. It is super fun and develops skills in timing, exaggeration, characterisation, and interpreting script. The lessons have clear learning intentions, video examples, real life links, and reflection tasks. They are planned to last around 50 minutes. The final lesson is a summative assessment task when students get to select their favourite form of comedy and devise their own scene demonstrating their newly formed performance skills.
