Counting Objects in a Row

This lesson plan aligns with Oklahoma academic standard PK.N.2.1 in which students are to be able to count the number of objects in a row (up to 10). To warm your students up, count with them to 10. Next, begin the lesson by counting the objects in the rows in part 1 aloud by yourself. In part 2, have your students count objects in rows with you. Your students will count aloud without your help in part 3. Finally, you can assess each student individually by having them count the objects in the rows on the assessment sheet.
