Starter is a knowledge retention quiz for vectors and scalars (answers on powerpoint)
Main: pupils are shown a video on distance time graphs. I then got them to draw a table which we used to record some measurements. (pupils walking and running) I did this with 2 year 9 classes, one indoors and one out on the playground. I then showed a sample of some results and drew the graph. they then have to apply this on graph paper.
This was followed up by the edexcel worksheets and a quick plenary on whiteboards with graphs on the powerpoint
