Creation / Our World RE unit KS2

This is a 5 lesson RE unit with accompanying resources, focussing on the Christian and Hindu stories of creation and the environment. It is suitable for using with key stage 2.

Lesson 1 gives details of a starter, class discussion, nature walk around school, poetry writing activity and a plenary.

Lesson 2 gives details of a starter, whole class discussion, drama activity, written activity and plenary.

Lesson 3 gives details of a starter, whole class discussion, link to a video clip, drama activity, written activity and plenary.

Lesson 4 gives details of a starter, whole class discussion, headline writing activity and final activity and discussion.

Lesson 5 gives details of a starter activity, whole class discussion, walk around school, poster designing activity and plenary.

Lesson objectives and cross-curricular links are also included in the plan. There is a PowerPoint of the Christian Bible story included in the price and all resources that are needed. The PowerPoint covers the Bible story from Genesis 1 to the end of Genesis 2:3.
