Need help getting your students to write creatively ?
Look no further !!
The Holocaust is a deeply sensitive topic, so these 3 complete lessons allow students to emphasize and show respect. They provide support for students who may feel emotionally affected and they encourage students to focus on human resilience, courage, and empathy in their writing.
So why did I create this?
-
I wanted my students to understand the Holocaust and gain a deeper understanding of the Holocaust’s historical context and human impact.
-
I wanted my students to show empathy through storytelling and explore how creative writing can create empathy and humanize historical events.
-
I wanted to develop my students writing skill by using descriptive language, character development, and perspective in storytelling.
What is includes:
Pair work
Class discussion
Group work
Aim and Objectives
Starter Activities
In each powerpoint I have created short interesting tasks that can be used as pairs work or individual to keep them all engaged, while being able to stretch and challenge the more able student.
