This resource uses the whole book 'H20 no armbands needed' with each chapter having a range of questions for the children to answer purely looking at retrieval and understanding the text that they are reading as required by curriculum 2014.
This is at least a term's work, build up the children's understanding using a short chapter and then a range of questions to extend their real understanding. I've included assessment without levels for reading for Y1 and Y2.
