CVC Short A Flip Booklet and Worksheets
This mini CVC (Short a) pack is perfect for introducing or/and consolidating CVC words with a short a.
The pack includes a ‘Short a Booklet’. I bound these by using a ring in the top left hand corner. Use velcro with a sticky back to create a product which can be used over and over again. Place the one side of the velcro on the back of the image and then the other side of the velcro in the box next to the word.
Students can now read the word and search for the image to ‘paste’ next to it.
Worksheets have also been included and can be used to ‘test’ what students know. They have been grouped accordingly: words ending in –ab, -ad, -ag, -at, -an, -am, -ar and -ap. Here students choose the necessary pictures, cut and then paste them and write the word.
The set of Word Wall cards can be used in two ways. Either you can keep the image attached to the word as a reference resource on your wall, or you can separate the picture and the word to create an interactive activity for students to match together.
I trust you and your students will enjoy this product. Should you find it useful, you may want to leave some feedback by returning to the product page. If you have any queries or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact me at margauxlangenhoven@gmail.com.
