This project includes all resources for a Mood light project suitable for KS3 year 7 or 8 - to run over 14 lessons but includes stretch and challenge activities.
This project covers joints, 2D design, laser cutting, soldering, electronics and much more. There is a full lesson by lesson powerpoint which matches up to a full scheme of work with questioning, learning objectives, success criteria, homework and differentiation.
There is also an assessment included for the end of the module.
Tracing paper can be added onto the inside of the light shade to hide the circuit and still allow light to pass through.
I currently use colour changing LEDs.
