Students will be able to ring in Chinese New Year by designing and constructing a functional dancing dragon puppet to mirror the real life traditional ones that dance during the festivals and learn about the significance of the holiday worldwide. A learning objective, subject summary and application in real life, materials needed for each student and the step by step directions needed to create this lesson are all detailed in each of my lesson plans.
