An original template for an extended writing/literacy independent task. Can be used as an AfL plenary. Moves pupils into higher order thinking (up Bloom’s Taxonomy): Describe --> Explain --> Analyse --> Link. Fully differentiated, scaffolded, and stretches G&T. Can differentiate by directing pupils to different tasks, or differentiate by outcome by asking everyone to begin at ‘Describe’ and work their way down.
