A 5- lesson unit of work covering the DEFENCE AGAINST DISEASE section of B3 chapter “Health and Disease”. This unit includes:
- antibiotics and antiseptics
- plant and animal defences
- immunity and vaccination
- monoclonal antibodies
- discovery of drugs
As with all my lessons in this unit, there are “do now” starter slides at the start of each lesson, focusing students’ recall of recent, less recent and more distant learning.
