This worksheet activity uses infographics to get across the key information and the pupils have to interpret the infographics to answer the questions. We discussed what subsistence farming was as a class first along with how the UK used to be completely forested and why people in the rainforest burn the forest down instead of chopping it down. In our plenary, we had a look at the different uses the pupils could find for wood.
