I nice lesson where pupils are challenged to use cross curricular maths links to find the volumes of objects, including fruits, and thus find their density. Simple plenary of does it float or not based on their calculations. The worksheet is hard work, but as long as pupils stay focused on what they know.

I liked the worksheet although the wedding ring dimensions need correcting, as does the definition of floating in the powerpoint (negative needs removing!).
