Desmond loved solving puzzles and was extremely good at it. In the one you’re going to read he successfully figures out, in advance, a crime and, because of him the culprits are apprehended by the police. Ask your students to listen to the facts very carefully and see if they can work out how Desmond figured it all out. It’s not easy but it is solvable.
