For the first set of questions children are asked to use a calculator, the second set they are asked to use a number square and the final set they are asked to calculate mentally. There is a final 3 questions where children are asked to choose which method to use and record their choice. Could be used well to promote discussion about different calculation methods, and the Word format means that questions could easily be edited and adapted if required.
