Division Thinking Board

This is a resource that I created whilst on my final placement to use with a Primary 3 class. This could be used to consolidate any learning which has taken place in division, or as a starter/fast finisher task!

This resource is a ‘thinking board’ for division which is split into 4 sections. Each section provides pupils with a space where they can practice different strategies for carrying out/solving a division sum:

1. groupings
2. number line
3. arrays
4. bar model

The middle box is where the division sum is to be written into.
