DT Home Learning Bundle

A home learning project for use during the corona virus but could be used afterwards as an ongoing home based project.

The bundle contains a project aimed at year 7, year 8 and year 10 and has a powerpoint and student booklet for them to work through, the project should take 4-5 weeks to complete and sees students learning about sustainability, the 6R’s, rapid prototyping and evaluation skills.
The project itself involves using recycling materials to create home plant pots for tomato plants.

the key stage 4 option also explores vertical, sky and urban farming and goes into more detail in evaluations and designing for a client.
