A full half term of work for the Microbit Monsters unit in DT. This unit combines textiles (running, back and cross stitches, using a pattern piece, sewing on buttons and beads, sewing 2 good sides together) and controlling a microbit using the BBC microbit website.
I have included everything I used; vocab sheet, powerpoint slides, investigation sheets and evaluation sheets. You will just need to make some microbit monsters to show the children in the first place. The slideshow contains some pics of monsters my children have made previously.
It is set up sepcifically for my school, so will need some twaeking to your requirements. The LGT - Let’s Get Thinking - activity starts every lesson and it uses the DT cycle I devised for my school.
