This download covers the basics of electricity and power in one complete lesson.

There is a detailed 27 slide PowerPoint which explains fuses, plugs, batteries and circuits. The lesson then looks at the relationship between, currents, volts and amps before briefly explaining the equations for these.

There are also differentiated, 8 page, worksheets to allow students to demonstrate their understanding. I have also included a video of my own science lesson (using these resources) which took place online for teacher’s understanding or to show the class.

After the lesson children can take part in a digital escape room to practice their new knowledge.
