Engineering GCSE AQA - Impact of Modern Technologies

One lesson on the Impact of Modern Technologies designed to be carried out in conjunction with Hodder’s AQA GCSE (9-1) Engineering Textbook and/or Revision Notes. Lesson includes a powerpoint (with useful video links) and a student worksheet.
Students will be able to develop knowledge of new and emerging technologies, automation, the internet of things, the impact of new technologies on society, industry and the economy through completing the worksheet and plenary exam style questions on the powerpoint.
Recommend use of Hodder’s AQA GCSE (9-1) Engineering Textbook and/or Revision Notes. Alternatively, the internet may be used, e.g BBC bitesize or technologystudent.
