English Grammar Assessment (A)

This resource is based on the NC objectives for English.
TASK 1 - Using the present perfect tense
TASK 2 - Using singular and plural possessive apostrophes
TASK 3 - Using irregular past tense verbs correctly (not NC objective)
TASK 4 - Using a prefix to create a word
TASK 5 - Using a suffix to create a word
TASK 6 - Circling the correct homophone
TASK 7 - Editing a short paragraph by fixing spelling/grammar/punctuation

This can be used as a formal/informal form of assessment to assess where children are based on the above grammar objectives. The results can be used to inform future English planning and/or to target specific children.
