Explanation activity cards are aimed for KS2 and kS3 pupils and are to be used after pupils have read a range of explanation texts and have an understanding of features/conventions of the text-type. These cards include range of questions/scenarios which pupils should be familiar with and are perfect for speaking and listening followed by writing using the conventions of the text-type.
