Help your little learners secure their understanding of emotions and feelings and their characteristics. This set of worksheets contains 9 different emotions for children to identify through selecting a set of characteristics that are often displayed with each one, ranging from frustration, anger, happiness, embarrassment and more.
Children cut out the statements and choose 5 that best represent that emotions. They then use those descriptions to draw a picture of what a person with that emotion could look like.
Each emotion comes with a possible answer sheet, which could also be used for differentiation and comprehension should you wish to do so.
The completed worksheets would look great on your next bulletin board for child reference, or on display in your calm corner.
Develop children’s knowledge and understanding of emotions and feelings, extending their vocabulary and helping them to identify what happens to their body with each emotion. These will support your PSHE curriculum or your social, emotional and mental health curriculum for those children in elementary school, primary school or even as part of the homeschool learning curriculum.
Each worksheet has been designed in A4 and will download in pdf but you can use your printer settings to reduce the size or a photocopier to enlarge.
