Finding Equivalent Values to 10p
This activity will require you to have some 1p/2p/5p coins to use alongside it.
This activity is based on money, focusing on equivalent values to 10p. Using coins, pupils have to come up with three different ways to make 10p. It can be used as a single use worksheet, or can be laminated to be used again - the latter is what I have done with this resource myself.
I’m currently a teacher in a special needs school for children with ASD. The class I currently have range from P4 - 2C. These are a lifesaver. I use them daily with my pupils as part of their workboxes following the TEACCH system. The pupils respond well to the worksheet, and with daily repetition I am seeing great progress in Maths.
