Bearings task where learners plot the course of 9 aircraft to find out which might collide. Bearings are written in 3 digit form. The task is also good practice for measuring angles, including those above 180 and 270 degrees.
Suitable as a main lesson task or starter. Page 1 should be printed. Answers on slide 2 (use the protractor image if required). All items on PowerPoint are editable if you want to customise the activity.

Brilliant design and engaging. Have animated and added North lines. Along with how to work out bearings greater than 180 degrees. So maybe worth doing that on your next edit.
Downloaded brstes other file 'days before exam' which was great. This one is a great idea and gives the learners a challenge. Would have been nice is second sheet had been animated, but this is easy enough to do. Thanks for brilliant resources.
