This Powerpoint contains a whole unit of work (66 slides) on the theme of Hobbies , sub topic: Leisure. It contains a variety of activities to introduce key vocabulary on this topic and to develop exam skills matching the Listening, Speaking , Reading and Writing components of the Ab Initio new specification. It also contains a range of tasks and facts to develop students knowledge of French culture (needed in the first part of the Individual oral).
Speaking tasks consist of sample presentation (to be completed as gap fill exercises) and suggested questions for the discussion / general conversation.
All Reading and Listening exam practice exercises come with answers, audio files (integrated in the Powerpoint but also attached as separate audio MP3 files) and transcripts.
The booklet also contains sample writing tasks to help students familiarise themselves with the markscheme and exams requirements.
