This complete French Christmas lesson consists of six tasks. Students begin by listening to the teacher describing a picture (father Christmas) and drawing what is described. Christmas vocabulary is then introduced before a dictionary activity which gives students the vocab required to understand and sing along with a French Christmas song. Students then use the vocab to engage with sentences about Christmas traditions before using these to do a comparison between Christmas in France and the UK. Finally, students watch a video of a French Christmas song and sing along.
