Designed for 50 minutes. Buying food at the supermarket. Using quantities. Using VOULOIR (conditional – je voudrais). This lesson is aimed at higher end Foundation students and could be used with Higher students.
Students will ideally have a good grasp of numbers and a concept of grams and kilos in French. By the end of the lesson, students should be able to use “je voudrais” and a number of food items, including weight and asking how much it costs.
The lesson includes 1 starter, 2 listening activities, 1 speaking activity, 1 writing activity and a plenary writing activity.
