Four-page French activity workbook on the 2014 film La famille Bélier. Includes key vocabulary, an original reading passage and associated text exploration activities, a definitions quiz, gap-fill and sentence reconstitution tasks to equip students with the vocabulary and structures to talk about the film. There’s also a ‘re-order the story’ activity on the last page, which could be printed out and cut up for a more practical slant!

The language level is appropriate for A2/B1 on the CEFR scale, and is intended to challenge a proficient GCSE group or first-year A-Level group. Exercises are designed to activate general reading and context / gist skills beyond the new vocab. The last page of activities includes some web-quest style questions, which require students to research online.

Ideal as a class-based project, or as homework or cover lesson material. An answer key is included, so the worksheet can be used by non-subject specialist educators as well.
