A contextualised SOW/lesson plans written for Key Stage 3 Science focusing on investigation skills, each mixing Biology, Chemistry and Physics concepts.
Really good to as transition from Key Stage 2 to 3. Each topic is roughly a half term long.
Topics include:
Forensic Science - who killed Mr Carrot?
Mythbusters - loosely based on the Discovery channel show, students investigate different myths such as “Does toast always land butter side down?”
Survival - The class is part of a documentary working with Bear Grylls on his program “Born Survivor”
Theme Park Science - the physics behind theme park rides

Lesson plans are designed to support teachers teaching outside their specialism and also encourage department reflection and development.
I do have PowerPoints and accompanying booklets as well - please comment if these are of interest too.
