They will be expected to know a list of common plural nouns that don’t follow the usual spelling conventions.Each singular noun and its irregular plural form is on one of the 24 cards. You could add an extension activity and turn this into a matching game ( match the noun to the plural form). Learners could also create a sentence which includes each word. * Practice Exam Practice questions for E3 learners which are similar to questions they will be asked on their Functional Skills English examination. 1 source document and 12 X questions which are similar to those the learners will encounter when completing their reading test (NCFE & City and Guilds criteria) Answers are provided so learners can self-mark.
